646f9e108c A master assassin who specializes in shooting his victims twice in the head, a "double tap", may not be everything he initially seems to be. An undercover officer ends up teaming up with him after she is not killed in one of his hits on a drug lord and after she determines he is an ex-officer out to kill only those who stand outside the law and are deserving of being murdered. Her investigations lead to dirty officers and uncertainty about whom she can trust. Undercover FBI agent Katherine and her team of street smart agents infiltrate a drug ring and come across a retired policeman turned professional assassin, with whom Katherine falls in love. Unknown to Katherine, this assassin targets pedophiles who targets kids, but agrees to be hired by her to take out a drug dealer named Cypher. Very strange film. A former cop kills criminals with 2 shots to the head, then leaves a rabbits foot near the body. A team of FBI agents are assigned to track him down, and one of the agents becomes emotionally involved with the killer. Unusual use of cameras adds a lot to the appeal of the movie; however, the film still came off as a high end 'B' movie. Too many glaring holes took away from the story, leaving it unrealistic. Corny one liners and overdone dialogue also acted as a detraction. Still it was an interesting show; different from a lot of films in this genre. This movie is a must for all Stephen Rea and Heather Locklear fans. Heather is great as a ultra cool FBI agent and you're rooting for Steve the whole flick. What a pair.
